LAST WEEK'S ROUND UP: A light to moderate trade developed in 
most areas Friday with Southern live deals at $128, generally 
$1 higher than last week's weighted averages. Northern dressed 
business ranged from $205 to $208, mostly $208, about $4 higher 
than last week's weighted average basis Nebraska. According to 
the Friday afternoon Mandatory reports weekly trade volumes 
were as follows: KS 7,193; NE 9,072; TX 5,094; CO 451; IA 
12,474. These totals will likely be higher when summaries are 
released a little later this morning.

DTN MORNING COMMENTS:  The country is typically quiet this 
Monday morning with bids and asking prices not established as 
of yet. Significant trade volume will likely be delayed until 
the second half of the week. Beef cutouts are expected to be 
mixed with generally light box movement. 

For the week ending March 16, 2019, Imported Beef Passed for 
Entry in the U.S. totaled 39,520, 107.00% of the previous week 
and 104.58% of the prior 4-week average.
